The Elephant in the Room
With the Nizpro performance tune, factory 90-horsepower Yamaha SHO engines can increase to 123hp, and factory 115-horsepower Yamaha SHO engines are bumped up to 152hp. The caveat here is that Nizpro has measured the factory outputs of the 90 and 115 at 108hp and 141hp respectively. Reviewing the dynographs, most of the gains aren't realized until the very top of the rev range.
The 90 gains slight low-end torque, then horsepower gains come into effect as you approach 5000rpm. This should marginally improve your on-plane time, and possibly boost top speeds by 2-5mph depending on your setup. Of course fuel economy improvements will be there too.
The 115 effectively gains 9 horsepower at the top of the rev range, so most customers don't report favorable power gains. Where their improvements are seen is mainly in fuel economy.
NOTE: To achieve optimal performance, your engine must run on minimum 89-90 USA grade / 95-98 AUS grade octane fuel and adhere to recommended service intervals. Failure to do so may result in decreased performance and could potentially damage your engine.

Fuel Savings & Range Calculator
Input your current operating parameters to see how a tune will benefit your costs and range. Disclaimer: Estimates are calculated using a 15% increase in MPG at cruising speed. Customers with multiple engines can experience far greater results.
Find your ECU ID
Your engine's ECU can be found in one of several locations in the engine case depending on year, make, and model.
Typical L4 (4 Cylinder) ECU Location: Starboard side closer to the forward side of the motor.
You will need your ECU ID to purchase a software upgrade. Follow the link to our ECU Removal Guide video for guidance.
